“Most people are one decision away
from the life they keep
saying they want.”
— Devinn Chavez
I grew up in Norwalk, California — the son of two people who had no business succeeding by any conventional measure. My father left Chihuahua, Mexico at eleven years old with almost nothing. My mother survived the Cambodian refugee crisis and rebuilt her life from scratch on the other side of the world. They didn't hand me a blueprint. They handed me proof that starting from zero is not a disadvantage — it's a foundation.
The Army taught me what the classroom couldn't. On Victory Hill, during a ruck march I was ready to quit, a fellow soldier pulled me through. Not with a speech — with presence. That moment rewired something in me. I stopped thinking about what I could accomplish alone and started thinking about what we could build together.
Today I work alongside business owners who are in the middle of their own ruck march — carrying more than they should, moving slower than they want to, wondering if the hill ever ends. My job isn't to hand them a map. It's to get in the mud with them, figure out what's actually breaking, and build something that lasts. The rising tide philosophy isn't a tagline. It's the lesson I live, and the one I carry into every engagement.
I don't consult from a distance. I'm embedded in the work — as a growth partner, a sales partner, and in some cases, a co-builder.
Led a strategic pivot from residential construction into public works and commercial improvements — leveraging their General Engineering "A" license to open a higher-margin, more scalable market. Built a custom permit site scraper to surface residential public works projects as a consistent, automated lead channel. Redesigned the bid process to increase output by 2.5x. Rebuilt the website with strong SEO and local ranking placement. Ongoing sales training to the team.
A facility management solution with proven product-market fit in healthcare. The work began with deep market research — building relationships through cold email and LinkedIn outreach to validate demand and establish early pipeline. From there, we leveraged ASHE and CSHE to accelerate credibility and reach, culminating in attending the ASHE PDC convention where we generated a strong set of warm leads. The pipeline is now live and growing.
Started with a full Salesforce migration to bring their operations infrastructure up to the standard their ambitions required. Now building out the GTM strategy — launching targeted email campaigns to open new lending relationships with dealerships, paired with direct outreach to expand their commercial vehicle financing footprint.
Spearheading a full rebrand from Car Medic to Bravada Auto Body — covering brand identity, website, and a complete online presence transition. Building out both paid and organic marketing strategies to create a consistent, scalable acquisition engine and position the business for the next chapter of growth.
I don't do sales calls. I do conversations. Tell me where you are, where you want to go, and what's in the way. We'll figure out together if there's a fit.
